It's been awhile since I had any idea of what to put here.

For one thing, I'm incredibly content with, well, most everything.  Sure, my arms are deteriorating (blame lies on the spine) at this truly spectacular rate, but everything else has been going well.

This pretty much never happens.  I'm flabbergasted.  Plus, I'm one of those crazy emo depressive bloggers, and I can't be crazy emo depressive if I'm happy.  That would be two.

The third thing is that I'm at work.  Oops.

<.<

    Hello, I hope you don't mind, but may I subscribe and friend you? I really enjoyed our debate. (Haha, I love discussing religion and philosophy with people of all sorts. xD Weird I guess, but I'm a bit of a sucker for mental challenges.) You made very logical arguments, and that's an attribute I can appreciate. You also seem like a person who knows a good bit about religion and philosophy in general. It's a rare person I find, who can combine all three. ^-^     The names Toast, btw. At least, the name I go by. ^^;;;

@Sola_Deo_Gloria@revelife -

Certainly; I've no problem with that. I do more reading/commenting than posting nowadays, though (if you can't tell, given the slightly old date of this post).

Hey, I don't mean to take the topic we were debating from the post to here, but my computer has decided that revelife is the devil and I can't post there anymore. Anyways, here's what I've been trying to post for about 20 minutes now..

I understand what you mean. Personally, I'd have no problem with an atheist being president because I don't believe religion should be an issue with a candidate since it SHOULD have no bearing on politics. That being said, I think most voters are from older generations. (Again, I could be wrong.. I know a lot of young people such as myself are starting to get involved.) And older generations also tend to be the more religious crowd. I think people view someone religious and see it as a good quality. They link that with being honest and forthright, if they're religious themselves. So while I'd like to see someone with no religion get chosen, I don't think it would happen.

I don't have a problem with Palin being vocally religious. I will, however, have a problem if she tries instituting her religion into laws and such.

@bamfness__xx - Fair enough.  I'm mostly in agreement with you, except I'd prefer that religion stay entirely outside politics altogether (e.g. religion shouldn't be mentioned in politics unless it comes under attack from someone trying to remove or restrict a religion).

@forgottenrevelations - I would prefer that too, but I'm not going to throw my arms in the air in outrage if it happens.

Thanks for the discussion. I've really enjoyed myself.

Take care.
